SUN SYSTEM

SUN SYSTEM is a unique patented production system of Sumitomo Rubber Industries. It combines several production processes to create a single compact automated production line and enables the production of tires with ideal geometry.

Computer Control

The thickness of the materials is very important for the creation of lightweight and high-performance tires. Computer control allows the material to be applied at high speed and given the required shape, i.e. to obtain the optimal distribution and supply of the material. Due to this, it becomes possible to achieve ideal geometry and create the required design.
